sold Antique Amitayus Bronze Buddha, 150 years old from North India. The Buddha of immeasurable life Amitayus is considered the giver of a long life and in Buddhismus embodies a crowned and dignified Buddha from the lotus family. He is depicted meditating on the lotus seat and holding his hands in the gesture of equanimity. In many depictions he holds an ambrosia vase in his hands filled with the nectar of longevity and immortality... Statue of Hindu goddess Durga, standing on a circular base, with her multiple arms, killing the demons. Bronze, with fine age patina. India, 15th/16th century. Height: 10.2 cm. Right hand missing, abrasion due to great age, otherwise very good condition
Citipati head made of bronze, with typical features. This head probably belonged to a large Tibetan lama ritual necklace, together with other similar heads. Tibet, 19th century. Height: 7 cm. The head is nicely mounted on a custom stand. Very good condition.

Quirky strands of bronze beads and Kushan charm in the shape of a Hindu Trishula (trident). I acquired these with a group of Kanishka coins that were found in the same place, circa 100CE. Large strand 25cm/9.8in and small strand 9.5cm/3.8in (the holes were too small to fit on the same cord as the larger one). Weight total: 40 grams. Great antique condition with no flaws. Vajradhara is considered to be one of the original Buddhas, he is represented with a bell and vajra, his arms are crossed over his chest. A fine pair of Kashmir lidded jars or vases. The copper base was first engraved with special tools to create the design in relief, the grooves were later filled with glass and then embellished with additional engraving and wonderful shiny gilding. This technique is called in India "meena" or "meenakari" and was first applied by the Mughal. Condition: fine, only one rim with a small dent and minor wear to gilding.
