Stunningly beautiful floral pattern (lotus, chrysanthemum, and pomegranate blossoms) with foliate scrolls, this pattern can be traced back to Ming Dynasty blue and white porcelain. One pair with butterflies among colorful flowers, roundels and auspicious symbols in satin stitch and little gold thread couching on yellow satin silk. The second pair in counted stitch on yellow silk gauze with few details in satin stitch, showing young ladies in a landscape. Condition: few traces of usage, one slightly soiled. Dimension: total: c. 112 x 50 cm and c. 108 x 37.5 cm.

An antique silk collar embroidered with five five-clawed dragons in couched silver-threads, chasing for the flaming pearl, amidst clouds and bats above cresting water in satin stitch. The border made with silver threads. Lined with purple silk. Condition: the silver threaded areas slightly worn, traces of age and usage, fold, lining with thin areas. Dimension: c. 65 x 27.5 cm
A pair silk facings of a Chinese robe, meticulously embroidered in miniature Pekinese stitch, couched gold threads and few Peking knots. Showing pagodas in a landscape. Silk lining and border. All with fine satin stitch embroidery, two pairs having couched gold thread. Condition: few traces of usage, some slightly stained and creased. A pair figured silk hangings with ruyi-shaped satin ends, endless knots, pearls and tassels with embroidery of auspicious symbols and lotus. And a satin silk sleeve panel, one side embroidered with roundels. All with fine satin stitch embroidery. Cotton lining. Condition: few traces of usage, one tassel lost. Dimension: hangings: c. 125 cm total length, sleeve: c. 30 x 45 cm.

$400.00 Gray silk embroidered in "petit-point" on a background of blue and white clouds. In the center, a flying bird looks at a sun embroidered in red. The bird is probably a pheasant, which is sewn with gold thread. The pheasant badge was worn by civil dignitaries of the 7th rank. 19th-century Chinese work. No losses or repairs; the silk background is torn in several places, visible in photos.

Budai aka “Fat Buddha” on silk framed dimensions: 49cm x 66cm- circa 19th century. Some of facial features (eyebrows and mouth etc) were painted on but the outline and subtle designs are kesi work. As it has the original very old frame with gilt edging on the glass, because of it’s fragility, it might be best to just send the textile but on the other hand it would be a shame to waste it. There is some discoloration on the field especially on the bottom.
