$1,600 Antique Chinese robe made from beautiful red silk with auspicious designs of clouds, its interior lined in light blue silk. Its sleeves, collar, and bottom are lined in deep blue silk, with gold thread butterflies and flowers, and bordered with pink, white, yellow, and green auspicious motifs with a blue background. The back of the robe features a large bulb-eyed goldfish at its top and along its bottom are several birds done in coiled, gold thread.

Framed.

Sold. Thanks Up for auction sale is an 19th century Han Chinese woman's surcoat, black silk ground with intricate embroideries on collar, sleeve bands and trims; 5 gilt ball-and-loop toggle buttons. The robe is overall in very good condition, clean, very light stains in sleeves and minor tear in the right armpit.
Measurements : Top collar to bottom hem 38.5", Sleeve to sleeve 57" stretch, sleeve width 20.5", width between arm pits 30" narrowest, width of hem 38" widest.
