Antique Chinese robe made from beautiful red silk with auspicious designs of clouds, its interior lined in light blue silk. Its sleeves, collar, and bottom are lined in deep blue silk, with gold thread butterflies and flowers, and bordered with pink, white, yellow, and green auspicious motifs with a blue background. The robe is overall in very good condition, clean, very light stains in sleeves and minor tear in the right armpit. A rare Straits Chinese fan case applied with tiny faceted rocaille glass beads on a green respectively yellow velvet ground, depicting auspicious symbols. The breast of the robe has a large, beautiful phoenix with cascading feathers in light pink, grey, gold, and off white, with pink forbidden stitching around its face.
