Stunningly beautiful floral pattern (lotus, chrysanthemum, and pomegranate blossoms) with foliate scrolls, this pattern can be traced back to Ming Dynasty blue and white porcelain. An antique silk collar embroidered with five five-clawed dragons in couched silver-threads, chasing for the flaming pearl, amidst clouds and bats above cresting water in satin stitch. The border made with silver threads. Lined with purple silk. Condition: the silver threaded areas slightly worn, traces of age and usage, fold, lining with thin areas. Dimension: c. 65 x 27.5 cm

All with fine satin stitch embroidery, two pairs having couched gold thread. Condition: few traces of usage, some slightly stained and creased. A pair figured silk hangings with ruyi-shaped satin ends, endless knots, pearls and tassels with embroidery of auspicious symbols and lotus. And a satin silk sleeve panel, one side embroidered with roundels. All with fine satin stitch embroidery. Cotton lining. Condition: few traces of usage, one tassel lost. Dimension: hangings: c. 125 cm total length, sleeve: c. 30 x 45 cm.

Chinese antique dragon robe made of sheer blue and black silk for hot summer weather. Embroidered with a total of 16 five-clawed dragons: 7 on the front (including small dragons around the neck), 4 on the sides, and 4 on the back, with a hidden dragon on the inside when the front is opened. The dragons float on a sky of ruyi-shaped clouds and bats. The bottom of the robe is embroidered with colorful lishui waves crashing against a mountain. Long black sleeves end with "horse-shoe" cuffs...

Chinese Qing dynasty silk brocade lady’s winter coat covered overall in a dense pattern of small phoenix and dragon roundels among clouds and precious objects all set against a purple ground. The center front opening holds five metal buttons. High collar and wool boucle lining. Late 19th to early 20th century. Measures about 29 1/2" long by 51” from sleeve tip to sleeve tip. Very good overall condition. From an old Tucson, Arizona estate.

Vintage red bride’s wedding jacket with embroidered auspicious symbols (phoenix, dragon, and mandarin ducks). This would date to 1970/1980. Here are a few pulled gold embroidery threads so care needs to be taken. It is fastened with a metal zipper.
