Made of gilt brass, 2 with gilt brass balls, the others with glass balls. One finial with chips to the glass, one finial lacks its attachment disk and one finial has been mounted on a brass foot. H. 5-6,5 cm. Ca. Late 19th century.

Chinese late Qing dynasty Guangxu period multi-lobed wedding collar embroidered in polychrome silk thread with flowers, birds, insects, and small animals on a silk ground. The collar is composed of two layers of streamers, with shorter red narrow streamers lightly stitched onto longer white streamers which terminate in ruyi heads. Applied ribbon and black edging outline the streamers. The neck and lining are cotton. Late 19th/early 20th century. 10” streamer length x 5” wide ruyi head...

Pair kesi badges without rank insignia. With background only, we assume this must either mean it was for a student candidate not yet with rank or perhaps awaiting the addition of rank insignia (if it was appropriate to embroider or stitch onto a kesi badge.) We have included photos of the front and of the back with lining lifted to reveal the kesi technique including varied gold metallic thread. Condition is fair to good...

A fine antique Chinese child's collar with stitch work and fine knitting on the edge. The shawl collar is decorated with auspicious motifs of bats, butterflies, geese, and flowers. The collar is often seen in Chinese fashion during the Qing Dynasty where women wore the collars during formal or auspicious occasions. Age: Qing-Republic Period Size: length 18.5" height 16"

Antique chinese silk had mede for a child. The hat is beautifully embroidered with peonies and chrysanthemums. There are tassles, light pink, on either side. The top of the hat has a bird with a tassle in its beak, a smaller bird sits below. Republic period.

Antique Chinese ladies shoes made of silk and embroidered with flowers and butterflies. These shoes were worn during the 19th century by someone who would have had their feet bound in the lily style. Qing Dynasty. 19th century.
