Two rare silk brocades, partial fabrics, probably made in Varanasi, North India for the Thai market. The light blue one is a ceremonial waist or shoulder cloth (Pha yok), in brocaded silk with silver. The purple textile is brocaded in gold and silver, sewn together like a skirt. Condition: fragments, traces of age and use, tears, flaws, thin areas, partial wear. Dimensions: light blue: c. 82.5 x 190 cm , purple double: c. 64 x 66 cm.

Classic celadon Yueyao glazed bowl from Zhejiang circa Tang to 5 Dynasties, circa 706 to 979CE. Unglazed circle at the bottom of the cavetto is where another bowl was stacked while being fired.
