Chinese Nephrite Jade reclining Horse Toggle, white with light brown inclusions with very smooth oily patina, Ca. before 1900, 2 1/8" long, 1 1/8" high, horse is seated position looking backward, with small hole through the top to the bottom. It is difficult to capture the translucent white Jade through camera. The condition is good.

Chinese Jadeite Jade Pipe end, top is greenish and lighter green toward the bottom, 1 3/4" high, 1 3/8" diameter-top with small hole and other side has large open hole to fitted into the main pipe. There are some wear marks around the top and bottom rim, otherwise the condition is good.

Oversized Japanese "sosaku hanga" woodblock print by Jun'ichiro Sekino (1914-1988) titled "Boy and His Cat." dated 1957. The artist's white ink signature and red seal are at the lower right corner of the image. The edition number 51/100 and the date are in pencil at the left side of the bottom margin. The right side of the bottom margin holds "Jun Sekino" in black ink. Image size: 24 1/2" x 12 3/8" plus full margins. The framed size is about 36 1/2" x 24 3/4." Very good overall condition. ...

Beautiful pair of Chinese hardwood chairs with a dark reddish brown tone and smooth finish. It has an open back with a center support panel, carved with an auspicious Chinese design. The connected headrest and arms run along the top of the chair, with two curving vertical panels on either side. The legs of each chair are carved with squared spiral designs. An 18th-early 19th century Literati landscape featuring a scholars gathering in a forest of pines on one side, a pair of boats pulling up to a hermitage on the other. These are published in the book Jidai Byobu Shuei (pre-restoration, pages 76 and 77). They have been completely restored maintaining the original cloth border and are in superb condition. Each screen measures 70-1/2 x 150-1/2 inches (179 x 382 cm).

An absolutely stunning Edo Period black Oribe tea bowl covered in thick, ink black glaze with a floral and abstract design.

The slightly irregular shaped kutsu-gata (shoe shaped) form settles easily into the palm of the hand, with the built up rim resting lightly on the fingers.

The tea bowl comes together with a good box with pouch (shifuku) and corner protections (hashira).
