The colors on the print are quite fresh and there are embossed highlights. Overall the print is in very good condition, although there is a wormhole along the lower right edge of the print and some transfer staining along the upper right edge...

Genuine Japanese woodblock print by Taiso Yoshitoshi (1839-1892), titled The Cry of the Fox, 1886, from the series 100 Aspects of the Moon. This design is illustrated at plate 13 in the seminal reference book Yoshitoshi's One Hundred Aspects of the Moon, by John Stevenson (1992), and is one of the more popular design from the series.

The image measures approximately 13 by 8 7/8 inches, plus margins. The print is in very good condition, with strong wood graining in the background...

Pencil signed, Japanese woodblock print by Toshi Yoshida (1911-1995). It is a variant state of the design listed in the Yoshida Hanga Studio Catalogue as Monjiro, 1981. Toshi Yoshida is the eldest son of Shin Hanga school master, Hiroshi Yoshida (1876-1950), and in the last six years since his death, has been achieving the recognition that eluded him during his lifetime.
