Antique Tibetan Buddhist Votive Clay figure Tsa Tsa of a Buddhist Master (most probably Gelug-pa School), sitting on square cushions, holding the Kalasha vase filled with the nectar of immortality in his the hands, book of scriptures is resting on one of the side flower stems, the vase of Sacred Waters on his right side. Sealed. H 11 x L 6,5 x D 5 cm ca. Tibet, 18-19th cent. Condition: good with some minor losses to one of the flower and back / top of the head.

Citipati altar, the skull surmounting a long neck resting on a rounded lotus base. The trident on top and the two flames protruding from the sides of the jaws are removable. The flames are attached to the jaws via two bronze "tenons" (see picture). The altar is made of iron. Tibet, mid 19th century. Height: 37 cm. Oxydation all over the altar, otherwise very good condition.

Deity head in hammered bronze. The bronze is very thick, the ears are cast separately and welded. The hair is perfectly chiseled with a lot of elegance. The patina is verdigris and recalls that of ancient Roman bronzes. It is highly probable that this head was buried for several centuries. We were unable to locate it geographically. India, Himalayas, Afghanistan, Swat valley....? The appearance of the metal and its patina would indicate a high period of several centuries...

A small carved wooden stele from Nepal of a Buddhist or more likely Hindu deity, maybe Indra. Bejeweled god with a fan-shaped crown, seated on a lotus base in lalita-sana under a mandorla. Traces of vermilion. Condition: see photos, wear, and small losses. Dimension: total height: c. 17.3 cm, c. 10.3 cm wide, c. 5 cm deep.

This very well cast bronze dates most likely to the early to mid-18th century, although I have conservatively dated it slightly later for the listing. The piece depicts a seated lama and measures 4" (10cm) in height. The base is sealed with a double-dorje plate; there appears to be consecration inside. In excellent condition free of any repair. Pieces such as this have fairly well vanished from the market, as those of you who collect in this area are undoubtedly aware...

Antique Himalayan small silver Buddha Sakyamuni seated in vajrasana position on a lotus throne. His feet are folded in his lap in vajraparyankasana and his right hand reaches down in bhumispara mudra. His expression is compassionate with downcast eyes and a slight smile. Antique Tibetan pair of offering bowls. Each bowl is carved of burl wood and has an ornate silver foot decorated with cabochons of coral and turquoise. The silver bottom of each bowl is incised with a scene of mother and baby fu lions. The bowls have interiors that have been lined and edged with silver.

Two strands of Kushan/Bactrian of mixed stone (mostly carnelian) beads. I acquired these along with coins dating from 1st- 4th CE from the same site in North West Pakistan, so these can be dated no later than 1500 years old. There are a few agate and quartzite beads in the lot, some with traces of “etching”. The crescent shaped beads would have originally small ringed shaped ornaments that have been drilled and “knapped” to some extent to accommodate them being strung...

Antique Indian bronze figure of Krishna. Standing in a relaxed pose with his flute in hand. He is bejeweled and wears a pleated dhoti. Long strands of hair fall to his shoulders. Small & rare Gao box image of Jambala with mongoose, the God of Wealth. Carved stone. H 4,8 x 3 x 2,5 cm. The stone has a nice smooth wear, th details of the image are actually fine, much better in reality than from the pictures! Tibet, 15/16th. Condition: Rubbing due to handling and small chip to right arm.
