Classic celadon Yueyao glazed bowl from Zhejiang circa Tang to 5 Dynasties, circa 706 to 979CE. Unglazed circle at the bottom of the cavetto is where another bowl was stacked while being fired. There are couple of very small firing hairlines and tiny chips on the rim, otherwise good condition for an 1100 year old ceramic. D: 15cm/5.9in and H: 5.8cm/2.2in.

Two polychrome miniature devotional impressed clay charms (scale is metric in last enlargement). The larger one is Green Tara, a popular protective feminine deity and the smaller one is Buddha manifested as Amitabha who is associated with the end of suffering and enlightenment. Both date to the 20th century.
