Sold This is a reticulated miniature bronze brush pot, likely from the Chinese Qing Dynasty (1644-1912). It is of cylindrical form, featuring reticulated (pierced) sides. The decoration depicts cranes amidst swirling mist and clouds. The rim features a meander-pattern (Greek key) band, and the foot has a border of waves and clouds.

It is made from a high-fired creamy-white pottery that has been coated in two different green glazes with details finished in cold-painted pigments.
