Lovely pottery small lead glazed stove from the Eastern Han Dynasty (202 BCE – 220 CE). Minor fritting and a couple of chips on the upper corners, but overall, in very good condition for a two thousand year old piece. There are still random traces of the silver patina on the surface. I scraped off a small section the surface layer and a beautiful silver patina is revealed (see enlargement #5), up to the buyer of they want to clean the whole piece...

Chinese Song / Yuan Dynasty Qingbai Glazed Porcelain Cup / Bowl

This rare small porcelain bowl, or cup, with flared mouth and wide flat base, was made during the 13th / 14th Century (Song / Yuan Dynasty). The porcelain body is particularly translucent and it has been coated in a pale qingbai type of glaze. The inner surface and base remain unglazed revealing the pale creamy-coloured body.

Old Tibetan ghanta bell, cast in two parts: the silvery bell-metal decorated with eight lotus petals, kirtimukha masks and a band of vajra symbols, the interior with a cast inscripton maybe in lantsha script. The bronze handle is formed by a Bodhisattva's head, maybe Prajnaparamita, crowned by a five-pronged dorje. The bell tongue is made of iron, the bell has a nice sound. Condition: traces of usage, handle warped. Dimension: c. 18.9 cm high.
