Early Edo Myochin Signed Nimai Do with Nanban influence featuring gilded kusazuri and sode laced with blue chord dated Genwa 3 (1620). There are rows of Prominent rivets all about with nobori-kiri crests on the top of the munaita. Comes with an old wrapping cloth dyed with the same crest. Wow I need that! is all I could say the first time I saw this piece by Furutani Taketoshi while visiting the Churokuen Kiln early this year. The tendrils of natural ash glaze wrap around the simplified form like the roots of some ancient Shinboku (God Tree). It is unpretentious, but stands out clearly as a masterpiece by this very talented young potter. A stunning Pair of Antique Japanese Meiji Period (1868-1912) paper doors, depicting 2 hunting noblemen on elegant horses with bows and arrows on the first panel, as well as pine trees on the second panel. This is Japanese Edo era Beautiful silk of the patchwork yosegire beni-itajime kimono. This kimono is original from the Edo period and consists of 6 types of safflower dyeing and 1 type of edo type dyeing. The lining is also safflower-dyed silk from the Edo period. There are some small stains and damage. However, overall it is in very good condition. I recommend it to your collection. Size: 131cm (515inch) 116cm (45.6inch)

Japanese Antler Netsuke and Leather Tobacco Pouch with Glass Ojime, 19th Century, Leather Pouch-4" x 3 3/8" wide, Glass Ojime-1/2" diameter, and Netsuke-1 1/4" x 1 1/8" wide, 3/4" high, carved Antler Netsuke is a shape of Tree Branch, plus Glass Ojime. Netsuke and Ojime are in good condition, the Leather Pouch shows a lot of wears but no damages.

Japanese Wooden Tonkotsu, Tobacco container, with Kiseruzutsu, Pipe Holder, and carved nut Ojime, before 1900, Tobacco box - 3 1/2", 3 1/4", 1 1/2" high, pipe holder - 8 3/4" long, 1" wide, Nut Ojime - 3/8" diameter, top of the round wooden Tobacco Container and pipe is attached to the rope, all in one piece. Pile holder is natural carved wood, natural dark brown bark shows on the back. Maker's mark on the pipe. The condition is good.

A sweetmeat dish consisting of 1 central hexagonal dish surrounded by 6 fan-shaped dishes. Each dish has a straight side and is decorated in the center with one of the seven gods of good fortune, shichifukujin in overglaze enamels and gold on cream colored stoneware. The central dish holds the image of the only female member of the shichifukujin: Benzaiten.
