A fine Chinese snuff bottle made from quartz, with partially green mottled skin and darker inclusions, well hollowed. One side carved in high relief with a recumbent horse under a tree. A naturally sculpted tree-form (or dragon form) scholar's rock measuring 11.5", 15" in the custom hand-crafted dark wooden base. While I believe the stone to be Taihu, it rings when tapped with a metal object and has the sort of white veinings that are typical of certain varieties of Lingbi.
