A very good vintage Amber Mala / Buddhist Rosary made with 19 large natural beads of Amber from the Danish coast; the amber stones have been polished but still quite maintain the natural shape. In between the amber, smaller beads of Lapis Lazuli have been inserted. Finished with a very beautiful Mala Head in Lapis and with two small beads of turquoise. Size of the amber beads: 2 cm x 1 cm circa. Weight: 60 gr. Very good deep honey colour.

A very fine small, square vase of stoneware with the characteristic square neck of Hamada Shoji, Mashiko School as there is no documented box to confirm it. The body is decorated with a black glaze over an iron-brown/ rust-colored Kaki-yu glaze to depict a flowering branch on front and back. This effect was undoubtedly achieved through the use of paper stencils. H 15.5 cm, W 11 cm. Condition: Excellent.

A serene boxed sencha tea set in sudued celadon glaze by perfectionist Usami Kensuke enclosed in the original signed and compartmentalized wooden box. It consists of five cups with a teapot and lid. Each cup is 8 cm (just over 3 inches) diameter, 5.5 cm (just over 2 inches) tall. The tea pot is 10 cm (4 inches) diameter, 19 cm (7-1/2 inches) tall and all are in perfect condition, directly from the artist this summer.

A broad rippling pattern covers this raw earthen plate by Bizen veteran Konishi Tozo enclosed in the original signed wooden box titled Fumon Chjokkaku Bachi (Wind Pattern Rectangular Dish). It is 48 x 30.5 x 6.5 cm (19 12 x 2-1/2 inches) and is in excellent condition.
