SOLD Vintage Japanese damascene mix metal cigarette Box, once owned by the Rockefeller collection. Finely decorated with inlaid gold and silver. A pair of peacocks are seen amounts the flowing river underneath blooming tree. Hinged lit fits tightly and securely. Lacquer and overall condition is very good.

Small jar with a ribbed design and its corresponding cover with petalled edges. It is covered overall in a green celadon glaze.

The six sided bosy is decorated with alternating designs of gees and florals among lattice-work. It is 8.5 x 8.5 x 14.5㎝ and in excellent condition.

The Kura
sold An oki-goro incense burner made up of a hollowed burl of wood set onto a beautiful exotic dark-wood stand in the manner much appreciated by scholars of the 19th and early 20th centuries. Incense burnt inside on a metal stand would have produced smoke which drifted out through holes in the high peak of the burl, and around the base, like a mountain visible in the mist. It is 17 x 10.5 x 9 cm (7 x 4 x 3-1/2 inches) and is in overall excellent condition.
