This small water dropper of beehive form set on wide ring foot and a molded with a short, cylindrical spout, covered overall by an even clear white glaze, painted with bamboo and chrysanthemum on the top, It is in good condition, it measures 6.5cm x 6.2cm x 5.6cm h.

The pottery made with white slip in early Joseon Korea is called Buncheong ware "粉青沙器", these ware were made while only short term in early Joseon era 15th century until white porcelain could be made in Korea. Especially, cups with ears made with white slip are very rare while white porcelain are seen sometime...

Ther pear shaped body sloping on a raised ring foot and tapering to a narrow neck with flaring lip, decorated in a white slip carved in sgraffito style with lotus blossom below a band of abstracted leaf design, all beneath a pale celadon glaze, its ring foot unglazed and base celadon glazed.
