A Very Fine/Rare Korean Iron-Black Painted Celadon Mae-Byong-13th C. Korea, Goryeo dynasty, 13th century. The Oviform body on flat foot with cup-shaped mouth decorated with brush -applied iron black slip with flower heads and scatters leaves over the body, the shoulder with a ribbed pattern, splash of Iron-black to the neck. It is in very good condition, measures 26cm h. x 15.5cm.

The square shaped gilt and incised two Phenyx, Dragons, birds 4 sides and stylized flower scrolls on the top, a lock panel on the front, and its bottom flat. All 4 side surfaces incised with dots.
