Genuine Japanese woodblock print by Taiso Yoshitoshi (1839-1892), titled The Cry of the Fox, 1886, from the series 100 Aspects of the Moon. This design is illustrated at plate 13 in the seminal reference book Yoshitoshi's One Hundred Aspects of the Moon, by John Stevenson (1992), and is one of the more popular design from the series.

Pencil signed, Japanese woodblock print by Toshi Yoshida (1911-1995). It is a variant state of the design listed in the Yoshida Hanga Studio Catalogue as Monjiro, 1981. Toshi Yoshida is the eldest son of Shin Hanga school master, Hiroshi Yoshida (1876-1950), and in the last six years since his death, has been achieving the recognition that eluded him during his lifetime.
