It is a Japanese antique Meiji-era indigo-dyed cotton long boro kimono with sashiko stitching. There is some fading and minor damage. Please refer to the images. It is loose-fitting and recommended for wearing. Size: Length: 132cm, Cuff to Cuff, Back Width: 124cm

A finely crafted incense burner in the shape of a cricket cage with a bound bamboo handle covered in flowering vines, the sides pierced with hexagonal lattice designs. It contains a brass insert with a silvered brass lid pierced and engraved with smoke clouds. It comes enclosed in a period wooden box titled Ko-Satsuma Mushi-kago Koro. Inside it is dated 1935 after a long inscription detailing its receipt as a gift...

Lifetime edition Japanese shin hanga chuban sized woodblock print titled in kanji and English "Matsumoto" by Toshi Yoshida (1911-1995) dated Showa 15 (1940). Pencil-signed at the lower right margin and with the artist's black ink signature and red seal in the image above. Paper: nearly 8" x 10 3/4" (image: 6 1/2” x 9 1/4”). Very good overall condition with full margins.

Lifetime edition Japanese shin hanga chuban sized woodblock print titled in kanji and English "Supper Wagon" by Toshi Yoshida (1911-1995) dated Showa 13 (1938). Pencil-signed at the lower right margin and with the artist's black ink signature and red seal in the image above. Paper: 7 1/2" x 10 3/8" (image: 6 5/8” x 9 3/8”). Very good overall condition with full margins. There are a few tiny foxing spots on the front margin at the upper right and on back at the upper left.

A beautiful censer surmounted by a long eared rabbit by the first generation Kuze Kyuho enclosed in the original signed wooden box. The body is created in the Awata style of traditional Kyoto lightly decorated with floral sprays in gold. There are four Shippo-moyo piercing the flaring rim. It is clearly marked on the base Kyuho. It is 10.5 cm (4-1/4 inches) diameter, 11.5 cm (4-1/2 inches) tall and in excellent condition...

A set of five unique sake cups, each a slightly differing shape with varied designs by Masu Taka enclosed in a box hollowed out from a single split wood log covered in wiped on lacquer. They are various widths, all roughly 5.2 cm (2 inches) tall and in excellent original condition.
Masu Taka was born in Nagasaki in 1946, and is a veteran designer who turned his hand to potting highly esteemed for his whimsical imagery. He studied design both in Japan (1960s) and San Francisco (1970s)...

Japanese antique noren (doorway curtain) made of indigo dyed cotton in three panels. The design is executed in traditional tsutsugaki paste resist technique and shows a scene of butterflies and an exuberance of blossoming peonies growing from the rocky ground. Looped tabs at the top of the noren allow for it to be hung by a rod.
