Fine & Rare Small Chinese Kangxi Unglazed Porcelain Figure

This rare and attractive small porcelain figure made during the Kangxi reign (1662 - 1722) of the Qing Dynasty. It represents a male official and has been individually sculpted. Unusually it is unglazed and where thin, the body is translucent. It is likely this figure came from a 17th or 18th century shipwreck.

Yuan dynasty longquan celadon very large plate with dragon motif excavated from Shipwreck in sumatra good condition with glaze degdradation please see picture for detail, size: 37 cm diameter

Ensemble of three blue and white bowls circa 14CE. These are shipwreck recovery pieces that have been cleaned possibly from the Hoi An hoarde. The larger bowl is Annamese, D: 15cm/6in and H: 9cm/3.5, no cracks or chips but the rim glaze has fritted off. The two smaller bowls are a near matched pair- D: 11cm/4.2in and both have rim repairs highlighted in enlargements.

Two small Ming jarlets. Sort of wabi-sabi, but no major damage aside. There are some surface glaze firing cracks and fritting on the mouth rim on the larger jar. Larger jar D: 6.7cm/2.7in and H: 5.3cm/2.1in, smaller jar D: 5.8cm/2.3in and H: 5cm/1.9in.

Four beautiful well carved jade charms- the cicada is Burmese jadeite, the nephrite melon and fish have russet surface highlights and the tiger is particularly nice- carved in the Ming style. Scales are in enlargements. Total weight is 31 grams.

Lovely pottery small lead glazed stove from the Eastern Han Dynasty (202 BCE – 220 CE). There is original flaw in one of the pots on top and a minor glaze chip on the upper edge but otherwise excellent condition with a lot of lead glazed silver parrifin patina on the whitish surface. There are still random traces of the silver patina on the surface. See last enlargement for reference from He Li’s Chinese Ceramics...

Lovely pottery small lead glazed stove from the Eastern Han Dynasty (202 BCE – 220 CE). Minor fritting and a couple of chips on the upper corners, but overall, in very good condition for a two thousand year old piece...
