Mounted on a scroll of recent date. The leaves depict a hermitage in the mountains and a scholar’s studio in a garden respectively. Both signed Ji Yuan in a neat hand and each with the artist’s seal. Pair of Twin Circular Screens made from Translucent Jade, with applied Black Jade, White Jade, Nephrite Jade, Agate, Carnelian, Amethyst, Lapis Lazuli, Malachite, Coral and more, carved into multiple compositions of flowering plants on rock formations with hovering butterflies. The carved circular Jade Disks rest on carved wood stands. Each carved jade disk measures 12 inches.

Antique Chinese table screen made of serpentine from the Nangyang region. In two separate pieces: the picture slab of prized serpentine is framed in Huanghuali which sits into a carved frame. Valued for it's undulating natural snake-like layers, this serpentine screen once sat on a scholar's table. There, it could be admired and pondered for it's beauty.

This Large Chinese display case in red and gold lacquer is composed of two large glass doors and 2 doors in gold lacquered wood. The golden lacquered decorations of the palace scenes cover the wooden doors, the pediment as well as the upper and lower panels. Origin China. Period: Qing dynasty around 1900. Dimensions: height 215cm x width 115cm x depth 39cm.
