A stunningly beautiful CHINESE IMPERIAL GREEN DRAGON, 5-Clawed Porcelain Dish. Guangxu (1875-1908) 6 Character reign marking and of the period, QING DYNASTY. The interior depicts a green dragon chasing the Pearl amidst flames. The reverse of the dish has 2 Green 5-clawed imperial Dragons chasing the Pearl and 6 underglazed Guangxu blue script characters reign mark. Good condition overall. Size: 17.5 cm. diameter.

Large Chinese Ming / Yuan Dynasty Longquan Celadon Porcelain Dish with Peony Pattern

This large and "heavily-potted" dish was made in the 14th century at one of the Longquan kilns in Zhejiang province, during the Yuan (AD 1279 - 1368) or early Ming Dynasty (1368 - 1644). It is the archetypal large Longquan celadon dish, an example of which should really be in every serious collection of Chinese ceramics.
