1900's Japanese Bronze Relief Dragon Vase with Crystal Ball

It is 12.6 inches (32 cm) tall by 10.4 inches (26.5 cm) wide. It weighs 7.2 lb.

It has oxidation, pitting, chips and cracks at the base and dragon's body, stains, a small section of the dragon's body slightly wobbles, felt stickers' residues at the bottom, and surface wears and scratches (as seen in the photos).

It is a sashiko hanten from the Meiji era. All sashiko are hand-sashiko. It was made in Hirosaki City, Aomori Prefecture during the Meiji era. The white thread is used to express indigo-dyed cotton-type dyeing with sashiko stitches. There is a little dirt. But it doesn't stand out. There is no damage. The condition is very good. Cotton is thick and feels good. It is a valuable gem. Size::length 70cm (27.6inch)

This is Japanese edo hemp indigo katabira tsutsugaki kimono Rare. It is textile in Edo period(1800-1867). There is a little repair mark. There is a little small hole. However, the state is very good. Japanese Meiji carved bamboo okimono figure of a standing Daruma (also known as Bodhidharma), the body wrapped in a draped robe covered in folds. A fly whisk emerges from the hidden folded arms and extends along the side of the head between one of the elongated earlobes with hoop earring and the furrowed brow. 8 3/4" high. Very good overall condition with typical minor wear. There are a few short cracks and one small chip at the base. From the Phoenix estate of a former Daruma collector.

A pair of blue and white Hirado oil jars or bottles of squat shape, Meiji period, c 1900. Molded decoration of Paulownia leaves in reserves and an under-glaze blue diaper (grid) pattern. One with a cork stopper crowned by a small silver bird. Height: "2 ¼ /6 cm, diameter: "3 ¾ / 9 cm. Condition: small glaze crack near the mouth to one jar, otherwise fine.

Signature Shunju colorful glaze decorates this expressive vessel by Murakoshi Takuma enclosed in the original signed wooden box titled Tobe! (Fly!). Standing on four legs with square frame and decorated all over with scrolling vines and pine bows in maki-e lacquer on a black ground with clouds of gold nashiji. Prominent in the design is the appearance of the aoi mon (crest) of the Tokugawa clan, marking this tray as the property of the ruling Tokugawa Shogunate.
