$350.00 LARGE RICE WASHER Massive bowl hollowed out from a single tree, with primitive grooves at inner surface (as funtional design for catching pebbles for cleaning rice up when washing rice) and simple but also functional chiseled-grips at outside, early 20th century, Korea, approx. D 39-39.5 x H 15.5-16.5cm (15.35-15.55 x 6.10-6.49in). Some expected scratches and damage due to aging, but in generally good condition as is. selected by kikue Chinese late Qing dynasty sang-de-boeuf (oxblood) flambé glazed cylindrical form censer. The oxblood glaze drips inside at the rim above the thick off-white glaze lining the interior. The censer rests upon vestiges of three small tripod legs. The base is unglazed and has burnt orange.
