Rare Large Chinese Ming Dynasty Blue & White Porcelain Bowl - Fish

This sizeable porcelain bowl was made during the Wanli regin (1573 - 1620) of the Ming Dynasty. It is decorated with a very unusual pattern around the inner wall, in underglaze blue: three fish (crayfish ?) together with aquatic plants. The outer wall is decorated with a repeating floral pattern. It is coated in quite a thick glaze and the bowl has a good sonorous ring when tapped.
