$1,500.00 Japanese antique two section kasane isho tansu (stacking clothing chest). Made with all kiri (paulownia) wood on the front. The sides, top and drawer interiors are sugi (cryptomeria) wood. Iron hardware includes round lock plates and warabite shaped drawer pulls. Each section is an equal height of 18 3/4" so they could be used side by side.
Age: Meiji Period (1868-1912) Dimensions: 37 1/2" high x 34" wide x 15 1/2" deep.
