A nice and elegant shaped of black glaze ewer, with four lugs to the shoulder and covered overall with rich black tone. Song/Yuan Dynasty possibly Fujian ware. Founded in South-Sulawesi. Condition is good, only tiny re-touched to rim. Height: 14 cm, Maximum wide; 18 cm.

Japanese Kiri(Paulownia) wood two(2) section Tansu, chest on chest with all original finish and condition, Ca. late Meiji 1910, 40" high, 34" wide, 17" deep, bottom and upper section both 20" high each, three(3) drawers in upper section above two(2) deep graduated size drawers in bottom section. Black Iron original Handles and round back Lock Plates. The condition is original, some scratches, no hardware pieces are missing.

A Chinese paired apron wraparound silk gored skirt, woven in tapestry (kesi, kossu, k'o-suu) technique with some silver wrapped threads and painted details, attached to an undyed cotton waistband and trimmed by a brocaded band. Antique Japanese ikebana (flower arrangement) basket, comprised of tightly hand-woven, thin strips of bamboo. The basket has an hourglass figure with a wide mouth and slightly fluted lip. The handles is formed with gnarled wisteria and bamboo branches, tightly wound with twisted bamboo. The base of the foot is recessed, with a 3-character signature.

Original large antique Japanese jizai, used for suspending a kettle over a fire to boil water. Made of solid Keyaki (elm) wood, carved in a hooked style, and topped with an iron hook for hanging.

An unusual Japanese ikebana (flower arrangement) basket. Hand-woven with sections of bamboo, and interesting wisteria branch accents on the front and backside. The sides are woven with "Gypsy ear" ring handles. The basket is formed with a large, rounded body, a short foot, and a wide open mouth. Full of character and charm.
