$6,500.00
An excellent shakudo tsuba inlaid with a "thousand flowers" decoration in gold, silver and sentoku. Excellent work , exceedingly difficult more than inlaid. This was not done to save material nor economy, because the silver...

HOLES AND GEARS

Set of a reeling machine's bangboard and gears made of wood. Showa period, mid 20th century, Japan. Board: 26.5 x 16cm (10.43 x 6.29in), Large gear: D 12cm (4.72in), Small gear: D 5cm (1.96in). Such specific holes made intentionally for some usage turn to geometrically abstract when unexpectedly combined with other objects as a part (fragment) as it is, which is interesting and fun.
