An antique statue of the lucky god Han Xiangzi holding a Chinese flute, carved from a large bamboo piece with nice patina. One of the eight immortals of the Chinese Taoist pantheon. A slightly thin indigo-dyed cotton cloth with two threads in one, and hand sashiko. Cotton cloth is a thin hand-spun cotton.
It is an item around the end of the Meiji era. The shade of indigo dyeing is beautiful and it is a little thin, so it is ideal for wearing.
