The torso is made of yellow silk, the sleeves are made from fragments of an uchikake (traditional Japanese kimono), and the hem is made of hand-dyed Yuzen silk. Price on Request Pair to Large Japanese Six-Panel Folding Screen with Cranes
A large six-panel folding screen (byōbu) forming a pair with the previously presented crane screen. This screen features a striking composition of cranes: one with wings majestically spread in flight, accompanied by two cranes resting gracefully on the ground... A radical red tea bowl, the sides scored by Koie Ryoji enclosed in the original signed wooden box titled simply Chawan. It is 13.5 cm (5-1/2 inches), 8 cm (3 inches) tall and in excellent condition.
Koie Ryoji (1938-2020) was born in Tokoname and graduated the Tokoname industrial school before moving on to work at a tile factory in 1957, where he would lose two fingers in an industrial accident...

It is Ink on paper in a silk border featuring porcelain rollers. The scroll measures 55 x 206.5 cm (21-1/2 x 81 inches) and is in overall fine condition.
