A very elegant wide and low sake cup by Fukami Sueharu enclosed in the original signed wooden box titled Seihakuji Guinomi. It is 7.7 x 2.5 cm (3 inches diameter) and in perfect condition.
Fukami Sueharu is synonymous with seihakuji celadon. He has been displayed numerous times at the prestigious Nitten, Nihon Togei Ten (National Japanese Ceramic Exhibition) and Nihon Gendai Kogei Ten (National Japanese Modern Crafts Exhibition) among others... A very unusual early celadon work by master of the craft Fukami Sueharu enclosed in the original signed wooden box titled Seihakuji Mizube Kabin (Celadon Vase, Waterside). What makes this so unusual is the raised imagery of water ripples over which soars a single dragonfly. It is roughly a 24.5 cm globe (10 inches) and is in excellent condition.
Fukami Sueharu is synonymous with seihakuji celadon... Cirrus clouds of thick white glaze form bands over the crawling blue surface of this rendered vessel by Hayashi Shotaro enclosed in the original signed wooden box titled Hakugun Shino Shiho Tsubo. It is roughly 13 cm (5 inches) diameter, 29 cm (11-1/2 inches) tall and is in excellent condition.

EUR €800 Ivory netsuke depicting a karako, sitting on his knees, holding a large sphere. The attention to detail is evident in the curls of his hair and his clothes.
Period: Meiji, late 19th century.
Dimensions: 4 x 3.5 x 1.3 cm.
Condition: Excellent.
An ivory netsuke depicting Shoki, the legendary demon hunter, depicted in a moment of rest. Near his knee, an overturned bowl symbolizes an interrupted meal, while his left hand firmly holds the katana.
An Oni, furtively tries to cut Shoki's long beard with a blade. The signature is engraved on the vase under the base.
Period: Meiji late 19th century.
Dimensions: 3 x 4.5 x 2.7 cm.

An exquisite celadon koro handgs suspended in a stylish structure by Yagi Akira enclosed in the original signed wooden box titled Seihakuji Wa-goro. It is 18.5 cm (7-1/2 inches) diameter, 31 cm (12-1/4 inches) tall and in perfect condition.
