With some mending patches and a hole. 20th century.

It is made with purple root dyed (mountain cocoon silk), safflower dyed silk, and stencil dyed silk, and is patched together in a geometric pattern. It is an extremely rare construction. Designs like this are only occasionally created within the available fabric.
There is some discoloration in a few places, but the overall garment is undamaged.

It has benibana (safflower) dyed cotton belts in front and it has double cloth for the body and sleeves, that shows probably it is from Yamagata prefecture in Tohoku district, where has cold climate in winter. The collar cloth is black silk satin. It has a minimal charm in the back with benibana dyed silk yarn.
In good condition except for damages in top of both shoulders...
