Small "ghau", the front side, made of bronze, is decorated with a foliage and lotus design, the box itself ans its lid being made of copper with bronze handles. The "ghau" contains a tiny bronze statue of Bodhisattava Manjusri and textile. Fine age patina. A leather cord allows attachement of the "ghau" to a belt. Tibet, 19th century. Very good condition.

Statue of a Yakshi, or Yakshini, wearing a necklace and a dhoti, standing under a flowering ashoka tree and holding a branch with her left hand. Bronze, with dark green and red partly encrusted patina and with some soil encrustation. India, ca. 2nd-1st century BC. Height: 15.2 cm. The statue is nicely mounted on a custom stand. Very good condition.
Important mask of Mahakala, with a fierce expression, his forehead surmounted by a sort of diadem sustaining a range of tiny skulls . Finely embossed iron, with detailed features, and polychrome pigments to enhance some of the mask parts (eyes, teeth, skulls). A thin textile of red colour is affixed to the inside of the mask, probably to protect the dancer's face. Tibet, early 19th century.Height: 24 cm. The mask is nicely mounted on a custom stand. Very good condition.

Indian Himalayan Copper Yoni Lingam ceremonial vessel for Holy water, Dates from the 17th - 18th century. Forged from hand hammered copper, a tier-shaped vessel with a navel on the interior. Placed on stand, the vessel has a dramatic sculptural presence with a patina showing its use and age. The Yoni (vulva) is the symbol of the Hindu God Shakti.

An exceptionally detailed and elaborate cosmological painting showing Krishna in his heavenly palace, entertaining noble visitors, some of whom await entrance while mounted on an elephant, while below, presumed sinners are subjected to a gruesome array of tortures. In the upper left, one sees the (presumably) donor of the painting seated on a cloud above snow-capped mountains. Some soiling as well as very minor ancient insect damage...
A charming and very well-painted Nepalese drawing of Vishnu mounted on Garuda, following Krishna who is seated on a cloud. Worshippers attend them in this scene, set against a mountainous background with elephants and monstrous serpents beneath. Some soiling is present, as well as a small tear on the left margin and a small loss at the bottom right, all visible in the photographs. The painting is done on thickened paper and measures 9-1/4" X 12"...
A large and exceptionally well-painted 19th century painting on paper of Krishna in repose, attended by a group of courtly ladies. The piece measures some 14-3/4" X 12". Please examine the photos carefully, as the piece has sustained old insect damage and is somewhat rough around the edges. Notwithstanding, quite a beautiful and rare example.
