Quirky strands of bronze beads and Kushan charm in the shape of a Hindu Trishula (trident). I acquired these with a group of Kanishka coins that were found in the same place, circa 100CE. An antique 18th – 19th century Indo Persian Islamic shield (Dhal Separ). Made of well hand hammered solid steel of circular convex form, damascened in silver and gold koftgari with four tall pitchers and two swords amongst gold inlaid stars.

An extreme edge reinforced by an applied brass band. The center is decorated by a rosette surrounded by four domed bosses, with bolts on the back for a rope (to hold the shield)...
