To date I have seen only one other musician from this rare set.
Chinese Song dynasty shallow bowl covered in a pale finely crackled gray-green qingbai (yingqing) glaze that stops at the unglazed slightly recessed low foot. The exterior is decorated with carved and/or moulded petal forms. Measures just over 6” diameter x 1 3/4" high. Circa 13th century. Very good overall condition. From the estate of Gerhard Lohmeier, a Diplomat at the German Embassy in Beijing from 1985 to 1989.
