Early 20th century Tibetan saddle rug with traditional maroon colored border and backing. I bought this in Zhongdian (aka Shangri-la, Yunnan), over 20 years ago. Some worn areas (please note enlargements) and the sewn on border is coming loose, just needs to be resewn, but overall not bad. With border L: 140cm/55in x W: 75cm/29.5.

This sizeable porcelain bowl was made during the Wanli regin (1573 - 1620) of the Ming Dynasty. It is decorated with a very unusual pattern around the inner wall, in underglaze blue: three fish (crayfish ?) together with aquatic plants. The outer wall is decorated with a repeating floral pattern. It is coated in quite a thick glaze and the bowl has a good sonorous ring when tapped. Diameter 18.25 cm (7.25 inches)...

Dragon's Pearl
$200.00 A lidded globular stem cup in partly filled cloisonné decorated with stylised lotuses and other flowers in multicoloured enamel. Inside covered in a thickly-layered, light blue enamel as is typical for pieces of this kind. Qing, Guangxu period (1875–1908), around 1900. H 12.5 cm, D 9.5 cm. Condition: Fine, but with one small chip to enamel on the inside of the lid.
