Reduced from $320 to $160 (50% discount). Olive green glazed water dropper with molded lotus leaf and floral pattern in the shape of a small tea pot. Good condition no damage, possibly a shipwreck recovery piece as the glaze is not shiny. This is from a southern kiln, likely Jingdezhen. The clay is off white with a sugary texture similar to Jiangxi Qingbai glaze. H: 7.3cm/2.9in and D: 8cm/3.1in.

The stone has a lustrous patina and has a very dramatic ‘splash’ of red on all sides. It has never been carved with a designation and the base has now a shallow flake as a result of an impact on the edge, with a little powdery material showing. Further along there is a tiny bruise to the edge. These could be taken out by reducing the length by 0.4cm. Personally the chip does not worry me...

Pair of Chinese late Qing dynasty blue-glazed porcelain brush rests moulded in the form of a five-peaked mountain range and decorated on both sides with flowers and foliage. Circa 1900. Each measures about 3 3/4" long x 2 3/4” high. Very good overall condition.
