SOLD A Chinese Blue and White Jar with Floral Scrolls. Circa, 17th Century, Ming Dynasty.
Featuring an ovoid shaped jar with rounded shoulders, tapering to its short and straight foot. It is decorated in underglaze blue with scrolling lotus vines, below four floral panels.
Measurements: height (16.2cm)
Condition: there is a small "flea bite" on the rim but is otherwise in excellent condition...
Diameter approximately 11.5 cm. In good condition.

A wood lid covers the high cylindrical mouth. 6 1/4” high x about 5” diameter. Late 19th to early 20th century. Very good overall condition with typical surface wear from age and use. The wood lid doesn't sit perfectly flat. From the estate of a former American expatriate to Hong Kong in the 1970s and 1980s.

It is made from a dense grey pottery that is quite highly-fired and "cold-painted" in various coloured pigments, good traces of which remain. Note the flowing robes. Quite a large tile with a height of 28.5 cm (11.25 inches), width 25.5 cm (10 inches)...

$390 Four Chinese blue and white porcelain wine cups. Each with double ring around the rim, crane motif three times around the circumference, single ring atop raised foot, and mark on the base. Slightly sugary, opaque glaze associated with Kangxi production. Certainly Qing dynasty. Three in good condition. One with crack from rim. Each, diameter about 2 7/8 inches and height about 2 1/8 inches.
