Yuan dynasty longquan celadon large flower dish with cracket lobbed rim, good condition no damage no chip crack or restoration, partial have glaze smoked please see picture for detail size 34 cm diameter.

Lacquer black glazed truncated ewer with lugs and pouring lip circa Qing Dynasty. This has russet highlights on the mouthrim. Heavily potted in good condition, has a chip on the mouthrim- may be noted in enlargements. H: 14.5cm/5.6in and D: 13.5cm/5.2in.

Rare Song Dynasty wide mouthed jar from the Jizhou Kilns, Jiangxi China, with mottled dark brown “soy” glaze. If this had more amber highlights it could almost pass for “tortoiseshell”. Excellent original condition, with stable glaze (no fritting). H: 12.2cm/4.8in and D: 10.5cm/4.1in

Set of four porcelain bowls, glazed in pink, green, and turquoise. Lotus flower shape. Three are marked Daoguang and one Tongzhi. Good condition except for the large bowl which has a crack on the underside (see photo). Dimensions: Large: 17 x 13 cm, Small: 13 x 6 cm. China, late 19th century.

Small Chinese Blue & White Porcelain Dish - Kangxi

This small dish was made in the late 17th century during the Kangxi reign (1662 - 1722) of the Qing Dynasty. The attractive underglaze blue decoration features flower blossoms. To the underside are floral scrolls and to the base is a seal mark within double rings.

This dish was recovered from a shipwreck by Captain Michael Hatcher of "Hatcher Cargo" fame.

Rare Chinese Tang Dynasty Changsha Glazed Stoneware Ewer with Inscribed Poem

This rare stoneware ewer was made during the Tang Dynasty (AD 618 - 906) at the Changsha kilns, Hunan province, generally accepted to be the first kilns to produce underglaze polychrome decorated ceramics.

It has a "lobed" body and a short multifaceted spout. The front has been neatly inscribed in underglaze reddish-brown with a poem in Chinese characters that we have not translated...

The vase is made of hard-paste porcelain. It is decorated with Fenghuang (phoenixes) surrounded by stylized flowers, glazed in famille rose tones. On the sides are two Buddhist lion masks covered with a beautiful, bright gilt that contrasts with the matte gilt of the decoration. A discreet incision on the exterior of the neck adds subtle elegance. The base bears the Qianlong mark, painted under the glaze in cobalt blue. Late Qing or Republic of China. 136 x 115 mm

Early Ming 15th century Hongwu - Yongle period longquan celadon large dish with flower motif at the center, good condition with hairline at the rim please see picture for detail size: 31 cm diameter.

Group of 4 piece Ming dynasty 15th century blue and white bowl with flower motif, good condition with chips at the rim please see picture for detail, size: 12 cm, 10 cm, 9.5 cm and 9 cm diameter.

A peach-ground lidded bowl, thinly potted and finely painted in Famille rose with a duck pond and lotus. Late Qing, lid and bowl with Dao Guang seal mark in red and probably of the period (1821-50). Height with lid "3 3/5/ 9 cm. Condition: hairlines with Kintsugi repair.

Chinese lidded porcelain box of compressed circular form, a seal paste box, late 19th century. Underglaze blue painted decoration in Kangxi revival style of mountains, and in the foreground a traditional stilt house in a seascape with trees. With some residue of red seal paste. Diameter "2 2/3 / 7 cm, height "1 1/3 / 3.5 cm. Condition: fine.
