Japanese limited-edition abstract sosaku hanga woodblock print by Hideo Hagiwara (1913-2007) titled "Bird." The print is pencil-signed, dated '58, and numbered 5/30 on the bottom margin. This print is an example of a reverse printed image on fine, transparent, slightly crinkled paper that is characteristic of his early work. Rare limited-edition abstract Japanese sosaku hanga woodblock print by Jun'ichiro Sekino (1914-1988) believed to be dated circa late 1950s. The bottom margin is pencil-signed and numbered 2/50. A white ink Jun Sekino signature is at the lower right. Paper: 12 1/8"V x 24 7/8"H (image: 9 3/8"V x 22 1/8"H). There is a mat burn line and some soiling evident in the margins. There are remnants of brown tape at the top verso. An original price tag is on the back...

Vintage Japanese cylindrical form stoneware lidded mizusashi (water vessel for the tea ceremony) with horizontal ribs covered in a light creamy tan colored glaze with dripped patterning that stops short of the flat foot and recessed base. The interior and underside of the lid are coated in a glossy brown glaze. 20th century. Stands about 6 5/8" high. Very good overall condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs. This piece is from a Tucson, AZ estate.

Very beautiful Kinsai Iroe Shino ware tea bowl, signed and inclosed in its original wooden box. It was made about 60 years ago and it is decorated with a shiny gold leaf design and images of grass and plum trees.

The bowl is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or restoration. Signature on base.

A blossoming plum rises majestically on the simulated matt-metal finish of this cloisonné vase by the Ando studio marked on the base. The interior is a rich dark blue, the exterior flat orange peel textured metal gray with the flower laden branches rising up in moriage. It is 30.5 cm (12 inches) tall, 18.5 cm (7 inches) diameter and in fine condition, enclosed in a wooden box.
