The lid has two mixed metal fans incised with an old immortal man and foliage. The box has a free-sliding drawer and its top has a metal ashtray lined with glass. It sits on a lacquer tray with mixed metal handles. Taisho period (1912-1925)

$1,500 Antique Japanese cloisonne oval-shaped container with fantastic designs outlined in wire of flying birds amidst scrolling vines and blooming lotuses, with draping blue and red panels, depicting a phoenix whose tails resemble fish fins or flower petals, and a red dragon with flames and smoke clouds against a sparkling background. The main body color of the cloisonne piece is a pastel speckled yellow and its inside is a pale blue. It stands on four brass legs and sits upon a carved hardwood stand...
The Kura
Sold, Thank you! The largest piece I have ever seen by Miyanaga Tozan I, a fine baluster form celadon on a superb rosewood stand. It is 21-1/2 inches (55 cm) tall, 15-1/2 inches (40 cm) diameter and in excellent condition. There is a custom made copper insert for use with flower arranging. Due to size the cost of shipping will be accrued separately.

$960 DESCRIPTION: A Japanese Imari porcelain dish, shaped in “double fish” form and decorated in traditional Imari colors with floral designs in rust red, and fish scales and fins in royal blue. The reverse has painted florals and grasses on the four sides. Late 19th/early 20th century, and in excellent condition with no chips or restorations. DIMENSIONS: 10 ½” long (26.6 cm) x 9” wide (23 cm).

SOLD Gorgeous Japanese Meiji Period Tetsubin. Mushroom shaped with a canopy of a bamboo riveted back drop with flower, leaf and bird ornamentation. Wonderful detail, lid has a small bird on top for nob, as well as a bird on back of handle. Short spout. Tall, sturdy handle.

Beautiful dark tones with warm color variations. Handles in the shape of lion heads adorn each side. Bowl stands on three solid square legs in triangular formation. Gorgeous condition.
