Perfect condition with no chips, cracks or repairs, and dating to the first half of the 1900’s; maker’s mark and collector’s stickers are on the back. DIMENSIONS: 10 ¾” square (27.4 cm) x 1 5/8” high (4.1 cm).

This is dyed in natural indigo plant and Yamamomo. This has a stain such as the image in some points. And this has some small holes. This shows old form of Izumo Furosiki. As for this, cotton is spun by hand and is thick. Size 99cm x 95cm (38.9 "x 37.4")

A fine namasu low serving bowl of octalobed and scalloped rimmed form with a cobalt blue ground, lapis lazuli blue, decorated with three European figures hunting with a hawk painted entirely in gilt, kinsai gilding. The bowl dates to the late Eighteenth century and the Tenmei era.
The bowl measures 15cm in diameter and is 5.5cm high and is in very good condition, except for a very small flake related to a firing flaw on the edge of the foot-rim, otherwise no hairlines or chips...

Sold. Thank you. A pair of goldfish lantern made of washi (handmade paper) and bamboo strips which is the origin of Nepta (or Nebuta) used at Nepta festival in Hirosaki city in Aomori prefecture. The goldfish lantern made of paper and bamboo strips were used till around 1980s, but now it is replaced to one made of vinyl and wire. In good condition except for some brownish spots in the white parts. Large one: H:35cm W:34cm, Small one: H24cm W20cm
