Dragons are a symbol of good luck to the Chinese and also used to represent the emperor of China. Late 19th or early 20th wedding headdress, decorated with kingfisher feather ornaments, glass beads, metal bells, pompons and silk flowers. H. 60 cm. , W. 25 cm. condition: age wear, missing parts and one broken glass ball.

Antique famille rose brush pot, made of Chinese porcelain and decorated with two perched quails, surrounded by flowers in hues of purple, pink, yellow, orange, and blue. The bottom of the vase has a Jian Ding seal that reads "Shende Tang Zhi", meaning "Made for the Hall of Prudent Virtue" (1831-1850). 19th century Size: 4.75" tall, 3" diameter

Chinese monochrome gourd-shaped vase, made of glazed raspberry porcelain. The vase could be considered an item of good fortune, as gourds symbolize luck and fertility in Chinese culture. Qianlong mark on bottom, 20th century. Size: 8.5" tall, 4" wide

A dark blue satin woman's garment, dating to the late Qing dynasty, with center opening fastened with a gilt metal ball button and two ribbons. The four lobed collar, terminating in ruyi heads, and all wide hems extravagantly embroidered with romance figures in Peking stitch and little gold thread couching. Trimmed with different woven borders, the straight sleeves with embroidered outer cuff bands. Later figured blue silk lining. Condition: very good, only partial little staining...

Of semi-conical shape. With a hand carved and combed decoration of fish between waves. Diameter 19,2 cm. H. 7 cm. Very good condition without cracks or repairs, only some minor flea bites to the rim and foot rim. Song Dynasty (960-1279).

Exquisite Chinese Huanghuali alter tables. Gorgeous grain with "eyes" seen in the hardwood. Finely carved all throughout with round Jade wrapped in the wood apron. Overall perfect condition with a wonderful color to the wood.
