A simple one line Chinese calligraphy attributing to Chi Xizhao (1793-1866). The calligraphy reads: The pure jade harmonizing with the gold with the pure wind in the forest of treasure. The work is dated to year of the water boar (approximately 1863), mid spring. Chi Xizhao was a noted Qing Period poet. Chi Xizhao was a scholar of the xueshi rank during the Jiaqing period. This scroll originally was one of a pair.

Beautiful little snuff bottle made from translucent cream-colored aragonite, a 3.5-4 on the Mohs (hardness) scale, with carvings of a bat (symbol for good luck) with a strand of Chinese coins (means "fortune before your eyes" when paired with a bat). Republic period c1920 Size: 2.75" long, 1" wide

Chinese porcelain snuff bottle in the likeness of a playful lion, also known as 'Shi' or 'Foo Dog', with a yellow body, light green tail and mane, brown, bushy eyebrows, and chewing on a xiù qiú ball with flower designs and a green ribbon tied around it. Peking glass is a special process in which glass is dipped into differently colored glass layer by layer, and the excess is carved away. An extremely cute pair of ceramic sculptures of two young Chinese children peeking over a balcony. The pair of children appear to be fragments of an old roof tile, and each one is set upon a wooden stand. The modeling of the children is exceptional, especially the character in their faces. They are dressed quite elaborately, one with a deep yellow glazed robe and the other with a grey robe with white crackle glaze...

Treasure box made from Chinese hardwood may be Zitan, its lid adorned with beautifully carved hardstone inlay of two standing cranes with black bottom feathers, standing on a rock structure with long leaves sticking out around it. Branches sporting pink and white cherry blossoms hang down above the two cranes. Size: 2.5" height, 7" width, 4.75" depth

Gorgeous Chinese hardwood chair/throne with carved and pierced dragons as armrests, pierced and carved back with smoke clouds around two dragons on either side of a large, solid central carving of robed noblemen and women standing upon a bridge, with interesting plant life around them. Two posts with squared spiral carvings sits on either side of the back, topped with a small carved guardian lion/foo dog holding a xiu qiu ball...

Large and heavy Chinese antique Bronze Guanyin buddha statue, Qing dynasty, c. 18th century. Really impressing. The Guanyin buddha is sitting on a lotus base, the clothes are so graceful and elegant and the details of the figure are magificent.

Good "Xuande" mark on the back.

Antique Chinese wooden tray, likely made from boxwood with a black/brown finish. It has one main larger compartment carved with two large lotus leaves, a lotus flower, and a lotus pod. The smaller compartment has a carved lotus pod with moveable seeds. It has two sides handles formed as stems. Size: 33" long, 17" wide, 1" tall

Comprising a censer, 2 vases and 4 cabdlesticks. The censer and the two candlesticks in the center belong together, the other items were matched. H. Between 18 and 21 cm. Condition: the censer and the two candlesticks in the center are in a very good condition, even the separate handles of the censer are intact. The other two candlesticks and one of the vases have repairs to the corners. This set came from a Dutch private collection and was brought together in Beijing in the nineties...

Wonderful 46 cm and 8,16 kg heavy Chinese bronze Guanyin Buddha from our Buddha collection, made in the 18th century.

The Guanyin (Kwan Yin) is wearing a long robe and is sitting with two hands hidden in the clothes, holding a reel. Very smooth and kind expression. Although the statue is hollow inside it is very heavy.

On her back marked the period of "Qian Long". A really very rare bronze collection, can't find from other places...
