$350.00
Quirky set of Tibetan tools/utensils in copper and shagreen sheath. The blades and other bits are good quality steel with good bone handles. Possibly a surgeons or dentists set, I honestly don’t know- there are no chopsticks or forks, as is typical, so I don’t think these were used for eating. The knife has a good edge, this will clean up with a bit of baking powder and effort. All pieces in good condition and functional. Old circa 19th CE. See scale in last enlargement.

$345.00 A scholars favorite, this small pouch was used most likely for general purpose items, but I suspect it was actually used for cricket accessories, due the subject matter of a cricket at play, and the double gourd shape of the pouch. On the opposite side is an auspicious butterfly, the entire presentation is unique and charming. This scholars delight dates to the late 19th century. In excellent shape,it measures 4.75 inches or 12.1 cm long.

Dated to about Circa 1920, this vintage Chinese treasure is sure to increase in value over time. Note: Any white spec in the photos are reflections from the camera.

£345.00 The design of butterflies and melons is seldom encountered on Chinese porcelain, found only on a few Qianlong pieces. This shaped dish I feel is from the early 19th century but the ‘orange peel’ surface of the porcelain is often found on Qianlong export pieces. Like the Qianlong painted melons these have a pronounced ‘spotting’ in either famille rose or gold enamel on the fruits.
Approximately 20.6cm across, 6.4 cm high. Perfect condition with no frits, chips, cracks or rest...
