This is a traditional style wedding necklace known as tibari or nau guri and symbolizes that the woman wearing it is married. The crown is decorated by eight gilt copper Buddhist symbols and gilt copper figures of the 5 Dhyani Buddhas: Vairochana, Akshobhya, Ratnasambhava, Amitabha and Amogaghasiddhi. This piece shows the origin of a dzi bead. The agate dzi bead is still connected with it's source rock. It shows a dragon with the pearl. This is done with the knowing eye of the carver. The length of the bead is 7 cm. The size of the rock formation is 11.5 x 7 cm. In excellent condition.
