A rare Indo-Persian Mughal KHANJAR DAGGER with a particularly beautiful damascended PAMOR design blade, terminating in a triangle of overlaid gold foliage decoration. The wonderfully shaped silver grip is exquisitely crafted as a 3-dimensional Lion's head. The dominant dense pamor pattern resembles the irregular annual rings of a tree trunk. Comes with a scabbard in blue textile. Size: 14" inches ( 36 cm.). Late 18/19th Century.

June Hastings
Old Kalaga from Myanmar (now Burma) featuring an unusual but colorful bird. The kalaga is embroidered with a combination of metallic and plain threads, sequins, beads and glass stones. Applied around the bird in a circle are glass-like stones that give the appearance of moonstones. In very good antique/vintage condition, it measures about 14.25 inches square. Circa 1950's or earlier.

A very fine and rare tsa-tsa of hard-backed clay depicting the seated Dhyani-buddha Akshobya, crowned and ornate. The clay from which it is made has been mixed with herbs and other medicinal substances.The piece is hollow and still has its original sealing. Tibet, probably 16th century, but in any case of considerable age. H 8.4 cm. Condition: Small chip on backside and minor wear otherwise quite good.

A fine carved and painted marble sculpture of the Hindu deity Ganesha, the elephant-headed god. He is holding his war axe in one hand, an elephant goad, ankusha, in another. A further holds a rosary and the last holds a sweetmeat. A hooded cobra supports his trunk and a large rat nibbles his foot. From northern India, mid 19th century.
