Lovely circa 19th century all wool natural dyed Baluchi rug. Intense blue dye and very supple. There are a couple of small tears (broken weft and missing pile but intact warp) noted in enlargements as well as a small area of the selvedge separating from the side. Worn and low pile areas etc, etc, etc. Please examine enlargements. L 221cm/87in and W: 128cm/50in.

A rare Tibetan Ritual Masked Dance 'Cloud Collar’ Silk Brocade, made from Ming dynasty silk brocade. This collar would be worn by monk / dancer as part of the elaborate and rich attire during special Buddhist ritual performances like the Cham dance. Size: 88 x 88 cm circa . Tibet, 17 - 18th cent. Condition: generally quite good but of course has been used for very long time and has some stains and a couple of tears. See last picture.

Small "ghau", the front side, made of bronze, is decorated with a foliage and lotus design, the box itself ans its lid being made of copper with bronze handles. The "ghau" contains a tiny bronze statue of Bodhisattava Manjusri and textile. Fine age patina. A leather cord allows attachement of the "ghau" to a belt. Tibet, 19th century. Very good condition.
