Reference: Attribution by Mauro Novelli as T-48 at itosozan.com. Medium: Crepe (chirimen) Japanese woodblock print. Condition: Lightly foxed. A rarely encountered Japanese "shin hanga" woodblock print titled "Sunset Glow at the Skirt of Mt. Fuji" by Ito Takashi (1894-1982), published by Watanabe in the second month of 1952. This print is from an old Tucson, Arizona collection and was purchased in the mid-20th century. It is not a recent Heisei edition. This standard sized horizontal oban print has full margins and measures 10 3/8" x 15 1/4" (image about 9 1/2" x 14 1/4"). Very good color and overall condition...

Sealed Yuhan in Japanese within the image. Condition: Very good to excellent with slight toning of paper. This rarely seen print is also signed "Y. Ito" in pencil and titled "Cryptomeria Highway, Nikko" with edition number 12/25.

A fine ivory colored celadon by the first generation Kato Keizan enclosed in the original signed wooden box and containing the original exhibition pamphlet in which the vase is featured from the 1956 Takashimaya Department Store Exhibition marking his 50th year of working with clay. This vase was chosen by the artist for his exhibition pamphlet, making it, at least in the eyes of the artist, one of the more important pieces he had made at that time...
Ivory sculpture okimono of a kingfisher on its base, with a fish in its beak. Its eyes are in hard stone.
